About

Jennifer Egert, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist based in New York City. She works with adults, integrating Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness meditation in working with people with a wide range of life and mental health concerns.  Dr. Egert trained as a health psychologist at Duke University and has over 30 years of experience, specializing in issues related to adjusting to medical issues, disability, end of life, loss and grief. As someone managing disability herself, she brings this unique experience to her work with others.
